How to Play Package Chaos
The rules of FunTap's warehouse in one page: look, match, stock, spend, repeat.
Package Chaos is a first-person warehouse job from FunTap Games. You do not fight, you do not clock out, and you do not share the aisle. You pick up unique cartons, inspect them, and put 4,096 of them onto 512 shelves until the delivery center looks honest. This page is the rules of play. If you want a first-hour loop, use Getting Started. If you already know the grab and still mis-file, skip to how to sort.
Steam lists the game as single-player, playable at your own pace, and playable without timed input. That is the whole win condition wearing cozy clothes: there is no truck leaving at 17:00. The only scoreboard FunTap printed is the HUD counter, the shelf counter, Gold, and twelve achievements.
The job, in verbs
- Walk the floor until you can see a cluster of boxes.
- Pick up a carton. Official shots show hand slots such as
2/5or1/7. - Inspect size, color, logo, label, and special handling marks. Hover names like Swim Cap, Frozen Pizza, Gold Bar, Microphone, and Mini PC are SKUs, not vibes.
- Match the carton to a carrier banner and a shelf tag. Eagle Post is not Polar Bear Cold Chain even when both boxes are blue.
- Stock it in a green ghost cell. Stocking is the verb that pays. Floor-clearing is not.
- Spend Gold on a skill that removes a named pain. Magnet Hand costs 80 Gold at lock, LV 0/5, 60-second cooldown. Rank options on the skills tier list.
That loop is the game. Everything else on this wiki is a footnote to those six verbs.
What you are looking at
FunTap’s store copy is the rulebook: thousands of unique packages sorted by size, colors, logos, labels, and special handling marks. Families named in marketing are electronics, collectibles, fragile goods, and special shipments. Official warehouse shots go further and hang eight carrier banners over the bays. The warehouse map is the spatial version of this list. The carriers ranking is the attention version.
The HUD is a second rulebook. 4/4096 is packages stocked. 0/512 is shelves completed. A coin icon is Gold. The HUD guide names every widget so you stop treating the numbers as decoration.
How you win a session (there is no campaign boss)
A session is won when a bay is more honest than when you started. Steam achievements agree: First Stocked, 100 Stocked, 1,000 Stocked, Shelf Complete. You do not need to finish 4,096 tonight. You need a walking lane, a true identity, and a skill purchase you can explain. How to stack keeps the lane. Tips keeps Polar Bear Cold Chain off the crush pile.
Too Heavy exists because carry limits are real. Two trips are legal. The game has no timer. If you are angry about two trips, that is information — buy carry, or put the second electronics carton down.
Controls in one paragraph
Move, look, grab, inspect, menu, hotbar 1/2/3. Full controller support on Xbox, DualShock, and DualSense. Lower look sensitivity until a small handling mark is readable. Details live on controls. No skill will fix a bind that throws boxes into the lights.
What this game is not
It is not a Roblox codes title. It is not Parcel Simulator with conveyor belts. It is not a tycoon with trucks. It is not a story campaign. FunTap is a tiny indie team; their other listed Steam project is When Stars Rest. Mix those patch notes and you will invent a warehouse that does not exist.
Steam’s early player score, once ten reviews existed, sat at Mostly Positive (70%). That is a small sample. Read the reviews page and the review before you treat a percentage as a personality test.
A first session you can keep
- Confirm system requirements. DirectX 12 on Windows, Metal on Mac, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB disk.
- Bind comfort.
- Found one banner — Polar Bear Cold Chain is a good first honest bay because frozen SKUs are loud.
- Stock until First Stocked fires.
- Open the Skills board only after you can say the pain in one clause.
If that hour felt like relief, keep going. If it felt like a second job, the refund window is Valve’s, not ours. The official links page is the Steam URL. The warehouse will still be messy tomorrow. That is the premise, and it is also the feature.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common warehouse questions.
How do you play Package Chaos?
Pick up unique packages, inspect size, color, logo, label, and handling marks, then stock matches under the right carrier banner. Read Getting Started for the first-hour loop.
Is there a timer or a fail state?
Steam tags the game as playable at your own pace and without timed input. You can still build a wrong warehouse. Sorting discipline is the fail state.
How many packages and shelves are there?
FunTap's launch copy and HUD say 4,096 packages and 512 shelves. Track them with the HUD guide.
Does Package Chaos have multiplayer?
No. Steam lists single-player only. Family Sharing is not a second worker in your aisle.
