Package Chaos Launch Notes
What FunTap actually shipped on day one — not a wishlist of features from a different warehouse game.
On August 28, 2026, FunTap Games posted Package Chaos Is Out Now on Steam. The warehouse is a real product you can buy, refund, and stock. This page is the launch dossier: price, platforms, languages, the marketing promises that match the build, and the things the store page does not claim.
If you already own it, skip to Getting Started. If you are still deciding, read this and the review.
The product FunTap shipped
- Genre: Casual simulation, first-person warehouse organizing
- Players: Single-player only
- Hook: Sort 4,096 unique packages by size, color, logo, label, and special handling marks; stack matching items; restore a delivery center
- Families named in copy: electronics, collectibles, fragile goods, special shipments
- Meta: Earn money, unlock skills
- Price: $4.99 USD list. Launch ran a short introductory discount (10% off to $4.49, advertised through September 11, 2026 on the store)
- Platforms: Windows and macOS via Steam. Linux not listed. Steam Deck compatibility unknown at launch
- Live services: Steam Achievements (12), Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, full controller support

That last pair of tags is the design. There is no truck leaving at 17:00. There is no second worker. There is you, a camera, and cardboard.

Social copy in August repeated the 4,096 number and the money-and-skills loop. A public demo was still absent when players asked. Do not wait for a demo that FunTap did not promise.
Languages in the client
Steam listed interface and subtitle support for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, and Arabic. This wiki covers English, French, German, and Spanish. Client language does not change the 4,096 count or the spec sheet on system requirements.
What “1.0” appears to mean
Launch is not Early Access on the store page. It is a complete cozy product at a complete cozy price. That does not mean FunTap will never patch. It means you should not expect a live-ops calendar, a battle pass, or a codes drop. If a real changelog arrives, it will be summarized on the updates hub instead of being rumored inside how to sort.
Buy / refund practicalities
Steam’s refund policy is Valve’s, not ours. Specs include a DirectX 12 GPU line that is not a netbook. Confirm system requirements before you treat the two-hour window as a spec-check demo. Enable Steam Cloud. Bind controls. Then stock until First Stocked fires — that is the honest tutorial complete flag.
Adjacent FunTap context
FunTap describes itself as a tiny indie team making cozy games. Their social profile also points at When Stars Rest. That is a different game. Do not mix patch notes. Follow @funtap_games and keep the official links page for the Steam URL.
Launch day is the easy news. The hard news is still on the floor: 4,096 identities, a carry limit loud enough to get its own achievement, and skills that only make sense after you can name a bottleneck. The skills guide and the walkthrough are the post-purchase version of this page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common warehouse questions.
Is Package Chaos in Early Access?
No. The August 28, 2026 Steam launch is presented as a full release at $4.99, not an EA branch.
Is there a demo?
FunTap did not ship a public demo in the announcement window. Use Steam specs and the refund window.
Will the game get seasonal events?
Nothing like that was advertised at launch. Watch Steam news and this updates hub rather than assuming a live-ops calendar.
